Strange bedfellows, part 4

I think this will be the last in this series. But my listing of people who do strange things in their sleep wouldn’t be complete without Katie. As you’ve already seen on this site, Katie likes to fall asleep while she’s eating before bedtime. She also likes to talk while she’s eating if she’s sleepy. For a few weeks, right about the time we were trying to figure out how to move Kaitlyn from the bassinet in our room to the crib in Amanda’s room, Katie decided that she liked talking herself back to sleep after a middle of the night feeding. She would lay in her bed and mumble and moan to herself for a long time as she fell back to sleep. It was one of those things that, while it was happening, was kind of annoying, but during the day, we could laugh about it. I remember Mike and I plugging our ears one morning and trying to go back to sleep ourselves, and saying if she has to be making noise, I guess I’m glad she’s talking and not crying!
