I was working on a project for Amanda the other day while she napped, and dragged my big box of art supplies downstairs so I could sit on the couch and work while Katie played. When Amanda woke up, I ran up to get her, but I forgot to put the art supply box – or the surprise project – away first. I quickly hid what I was making for her (you can see it when it’s all done), but I figured the rest of the stuff in the box would be okay. A big bag of ribbons on top caught her eye.
She was really very good about it, so I decided to get her out a cloth ribbon with polka dots on it. We decided to put it in her hair in a bow like Minnie Mouse wears, and she looked so cute! I love her pretty curls.
Pretty in polka-dots

Bethany I remember the hike to the Y but I don’t remember any car door being slammed on me. Don’t feel bad, it wouldn’t have been the first or last car door to get me! Freshman year was sooooo fun, I loved living on an floor with so many fun girls!
Her curls are so pretty. Audrey lost her curls at 2 1/2 I was almost heart broken.
I’m so glad you don’t remember the car door incident! And I hope Amanda doesn’t grow out of her curls. She gets it from both sides, well, her dad’s hair isn’t really curly but everyone else in his family has it. I just hope hers stays a little looser than mine!
